8 squares (1 oz each) semisweet chocolate
3 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate
6 TBSP butter
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped walnuts
In a saucepan melt the chocolate squares and butter over low heat. Set aside to cool. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside. In a mixing bowl beat eggs sugar and vanilla until slightly thickened. Add the melted chocolate mixing well. Add the flour mixture blend well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if batter is thin let it stand 10 minutes). Drop heaping TBSP's onto greased cookie sheets spacing cookies about 3 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
