in a sauced melt 3 Tbsp butter. Stir flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg into pan until creamed together. Slowly stir in half and half, then stir in mascarone chees, increase heat to medium. Constantly whisk until mixture becomes thick and smooth; remove from heat; set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat saute onion and garlic in remaining butter until transparent. Add spinach and water, reduce to low and cover. Cook stirring occasionally for 8 minutes. Stir in prepared sauce, Asiago and parmesan, stir until completely blended. |
