Ingredients
1 cup crisco or butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup black molasses
3 cups flour
1 Tbsp ginger
1 tsp baking soda
1 cupu sour cream
Method
Sift flour, sugar, soda and ginger. Using a mixer, add the other ingredients.
Flour and grease a 9x13 pan. Pour mixture in. Bake 350, 50-60 minutes. Use cake tester/toothpick to test doneness.
