1 lg onion
sm can carrots
1/2 lb mushrooms
1/2 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
squirt ketchup
Branston pickles (3/4 bottle)
Worcestershire sauce (1/4 cup at least)
1-2 beef cubes
pepper/salt/basil/lemon pepper/marjoram/oregano

Saute onion, pepper, carrot, and meat in oil. Strain. Put the mixture in a pot, add the repaining ingredients and cook 1/2-2 hours). Throw in pan, spread potatoes on top and add some butter. Cook at 350 for for 45 minutes to an hour.
