80-10 chicken pieces bone in (legs and thighs work best)
1 stick butter divided
4-6 servings white rice
1 large can sliced peaches (halves or quarters)

Get the rice cooking on the stove

Using 2 pans, melt half of the butter in each.

Brown the chicken in the butter, you dont have to fully cook it, but ensure its well browned.

You will need one large roasting pan, preferrably metal.

By now, rice should be done and chicken is done, save butter and grease.

Put the rice in the bottom of the roasting pan and spread it evenly. Put the chicken on top of the rice and then pour about half of the grease on top evenly. If you want crispy rice use less grease, if you dont care use more.

Bake uncovered in a 375 oven 30-35 minutes and then add peach slices on top of the chicken.

Cook until peaches are hot.

Let it set about 10 minutes, and serve from the roasting pan.
