1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Pare and core apples, slice into thick slices.
3. Mix half the sugar with cinnamon
4. Place rolled crust in pan and arrange the apples in the shell, sprinkling with sugar.
5. Blend the flour, remaining sugar, butter and work. Form small crumbs with your fingers. Sprinkle the crumbs over the apples.
6. Bake for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 350 and bake another 35 minutes. |
