1 Tablespoon of Gherkins, chopped
2 1/2 TBSP Creme Fraiche
10 TBSP Mayonnaise
3/4 Shallot Diced
Lemon Juice (about 1 Teaspoon)
Hot Sauce (Optional) |

Add all Tartar ingredients together and mix. Add salt to taste and hot sauce if you want heat. |

The creme fraiche lightens and makes the sauce more velvetty. |
