2 garlic cloves grated
zest 1 lemon
finely chop 1 shallot
1 stick room temp butter
finely chopped flat-leaf parsley bunch (leaves only)
finely chopped basil (so parsley+basil=1/4 cup)
pinch of salt

In a bowl add garlic, lemon shallot and the butter, lightly combine with a spatula. Add the herbs along with a pinch of salt, and mix with a rubber spatula until combined.
