3 T Sweet Paprika
1 T Salt (slightly less)
1 T Onion Powder
1 T Garlic Power
1 T Cayenne Pepper Powder (slightly more)
2 1/2 tsp Black Pepper coarse grind
2 1/2 tsp White Pepper
1 1/2 tsp Thyme leaves
1 1/2 tsp Oregano leaves

Mix all the ingredients

Pat dry and chill whatever you are blackening. Melt butter, brush it on whatever your blackening, coat with the seasoning, add to smoking hot cast iron pan.
Fish (1/2"-3/4" thick) 2-3 minutes a side
Steaks (1") 3-4 minutes rare, 4-5 medium rare.
