graham cracker crumbs 1 1/2 cup 1 1/4 cup

butter melted 1/2 cup 1/4 cup
Heat oven to 350. Mix graham cracker crumbs and sugar in a bowl. Add butter mix thoroughly. If desired, save 1/4 cup mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture firmly and evently against bottom and sides of pie pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool, fill with chiffon or cream type filling.
Ginger, chocolate or vanilla cooky crust: use gingersnaps or wafers in place of graham crackers and omit sugar
Peanup butter: in place of butter use 1/4 cup peanut butter and 1/4 cup butter for 9 inch, 3 Tbsp butter and 1/4 cup peanut butter for 8 inch.
