| 1 1/2 ounces tequila 4 ounces grapefruit juice 1/2 ounce orange liqueur, such as Cointreau 1/4 ounce grenadine syrup 1 slice grapefruit 1 high-quality maraschino cherry, such as Luxardo | |
| In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour in the tequila, grapefruit juice and orange liquor. Shake, then pour into the glass over the ice. Slowly pour the grenadine into the glass over the back of a spoon or drizzle it down the side of the glass, allowing it to settle at the bottom. Garnish with the grapefruit slice and maraschino cherry. | |
