1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs, beaten
4 cups high altitude flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first five ingredients in an electric mixing bowl and mix until creamy. Combine next three (dry) ingredients in a separate bowl. Add dry ingredients one cup at a time to the wet ingredients and mix until fully blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake cookies for 12-13 minutes.
